The 48-hour pause before a facial

A facial does not begin on the treatment bed. It begins the evening before, when you decide not to “fix” your skin yourself.
For two days, pause strong acids, retinoids and at-home extractions. Hydrate, sleep, and arrive with a clean face if you can. Skin that is already irritated has less room for the work we actually want to do.
Bring the products you are using and the questions you have been saving. The best hour is a conversation: what your skin has been doing, what Tampa humidity has been doing to it, and how you want to feel when you leave.
Afterwards, let the result settle. Skip intense heat and workouts for the rest of the day, and wear SPF the next morning. The ritual is short. The protection is what makes it last.
